Welcome to Sunshine Pools. We aim to get your order to you as quickly and safely as possible. Please read our shipping and delivery policy below to understand how we manage the transport of your goods.

1. Delivery Rates and Surcharges

Sunshine Pools offers FREE delivery on all orders to most UK postcodes.

Please note: Certain remote or offshore areas (including but not limited to parts of the Scottish Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, and Isle of Wight) will incur a delivery surcharge. Any applicable surcharges are calculated automatically and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

2. Delivery Timelines and Estimates

We provide delivery estimates on each product page under the "Delivery" tab.

  • Advisory Dates: Any date or period given for delivery is intended as an estimate only. While we make every effort to fulfil orders as quickly as possible, time shall not be of the essence concerning delivery.
  • Pre-orders: If you have purchased a pre-order item, we will contact you via email as reasonably possible if the expected arrival date changes.
  • Courier Delays: Please be aware that during peak seasons or due to high volumes within courier networks, delays may occur which are outside of our direct control. We appreciate your patience during these times.

3. Order Processing and Cut-off Times

  • Working Days: Our delivery days are quoted in "Working Days," defined as Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and UK Public Holidays.
  • Cut-off Time: Orders received before 3:00 PM on a working day are generally processed the same day. Orders received after 3:00 PM, or on weekends/holidays, will be processed the next working day.
  • Exceptions: Certain specialised products may have an earlier cut-off time. Please refer to the specific product page for details.
  • Weekend Delivery: If weekend delivery is available for your specific product and postcode, it will be offered as an optional upgrade at checkout for an additional fee.

4. Delivery Procedure

Deliveries are made through contracted third-party courier services. Because of this:

  • External Control: The actual delivery process is beyond our direct control once the goods leave our warehouse. Sunshine Pools cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the courier or other third parties.
  • Service Type: Deliveries are generally "all-day" services (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM). For smaller items, you may receive a text or email from the courier providing a specific delivery window.
  • Kerbside Delivery: For large or heavy items (such as large above-ground pools), delivery is typically "kerbside only." This means the driver will drop the pallet or items at the nearest point of access to your property. Drivers are not insured to enter your home or carry items into your garden.
  • Access: It is your responsibility to ensure that the delivery vehicle (which may be a large HGV) can access your property. If delivery is not possible due to access restrictions that were not disclosed at the time of order, a re-delivery fee may apply.
  • Proof of Delivery: Our carriers may record proof of delivery using photos, GPS location, barcode scans and/or handheld signature scanners.

5. Customer Responsibilities and Information Accuracy

To ensure a smooth delivery, please ensure that:

  • Contact Details: You provide a valid mobile number and email address.
  • Signing for Goods: Unless otherwise specified, all products must be signed for by an adult (18+). It is your responsibility to check and sign for the correct number of parcels as indicated on the carrier’s note or handheld scanner.
  • Left Safe Instructions: If you wish for your item to be left in a "Safe Place" without a signature, please contact us before your order is dispatched so we can add a note to your delivery. Goods left in a safe place are left entirely at your own risk.

6. Damages, Shortages, and Reporting

We take great care in packaging our products, but transit damage can occasionally occur.

  • Inspection: You must inspect the packaging upon arrival. If the packaging looks damaged, please sign for it as "DAMAGED" or refuse the delivery.
  • 48-Hour Rule: Any shortages or damages must be reported to Sunshine Pools in writing (via email to sales@sunshinepools.co.uk) within 24 hours of receipt. Failure to report within this timeframe may void your ability to claim for transit damage.

7. Stock Availability

All stock information on our website is updated in real-time. If an item is listed as "Out of Stock," please refer to the "Back in Stock" date provided. On rare occasions, stock discrepancies may occur; if an item you ordered is unavailable, we will contact you immediately to offer a refund or an alternative.

8. Delivery Delays and Compensation

Sunshine Pools shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, or expenses incurred by the Customer or any third party arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet an estimated delivery date. We do not offer financial compensation for late deliveries caused by unforeseen circumstances or third-party courier issues. We strongly recommend that you do not book professional installers until you have received and checked your goods.

9. Cancellations and Amendments

  • No Changes: Once an order is placed, we are generally able to make amendments to the items or delivery address as long as your order has not been processed for dispatch. No changes or cancellations are available once an item has been picked in our warehouse or dispatched. In this case, it will be treated as a return.
  • Cancellations: You may request a cancellation, but please note that once an item has been "picked" in our warehouse or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled without incurring a restocking charge. Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for more details.

10. Risk and Property

Risk of damage to or loss of the goods passes to you at the time of delivery. Title to the goods shall not pass to the Customer until Sunshine Pools has received payment in full.

11. Geographic Restrictions

Sunshine Pools currently only delivers to addresses within the United Kingdom. We do not offer international shipping or delivery to BFPO addresses.
